The following video walks you through the process of getting started with your new, InTune enrolled, Patriot Laptop. Please make sure that you have another computer with you to go to the website in the instructions. This is necessary to pull up the QR code required for enrollment. You also need your cell phone that you will be putting the app on to. Both your computer and cell phone should also be connected to your home WiFi for optimal setup.

1. To begin, open your browser on your computer and go to aka.ms/mfasetup.
2. Sign in with your company email address and password.
3. It will say your company requires more information, click on Next and it will load a new page.
4. It will show you a page with "Keep your account secure" at the top and it will tell you to get the app (Microsoft Authenticator).
5. Move to your cell phone and open up your app store (Google Play or the iOS App Store) on your cell phone.

6. Search for Microsoft Authenticator.
7. Tap Install or Get to Download and Install Microsoft Authenticator to your phone
8. Once Installed, tap on Open to begin the Microsoft Authenticator Setup
9. It will popup asking to allow notifications, you must tap on allow
10. It will show you the app with no added accounts. Tap on add work or school account.
11. It will popup asking you to either scan a QR code or sign in.
12. Back on your computer, click on "Next" under "Start by getting the app."
13. It will then remind you to allow notifications and add a Work or School account. Click on "Next."
14. It will show you a QR code.
15. Move back to your phone and tap on "Scan a QR Code"
16. It will popup asking if you want to allow Authenticator access to your camera, tap on "While using the app"
17. A QR code scanner will appear. You will now have to move to your computer to get the QR code.
18. Hold your cell phone camera up to the screen and position the QR code in the scanning area of your camera.
19. Your phone will scan the QR code and add your account to the Microsoft Authenticator app.
20. It will popup and say "App Lock Enabled" and click on "Ok"
21. The Microsoft Authenticator will popup asking for a number, your browser will show you a 2-digit number. Enter this number in the Authenticator app and tap on "Yes."
22. It will approve your sign in and add your account to the Authenticator app.
23. On your browser, it will say "Notification Approved" and you can click on "Next."
24. It will make sure you have set up an app sign-in method and you can click on "Done."
25. If you are in the middle of setting up your new device from Patriot, please proceed to this article to complete your device set up.
26. You are all set!
